WILD LIFE BIOGRAPHY

GEORGE SCOTT, AKA WILD LIFE



born in the Indigenous Maroon Sovereign State located in Clarendon Jamaica WI. mountainous Cockpit Country, is a true specimen of the root of Jamaican  vibrant roster of  dynamic Reggae talents.

 Wild life ,”The Voice of Thunda” is a baritone sing-jay /songwriter/actor  whose culturally conscious reggae offerings captures the root and vibes indigenous to the Jamaican experience. Like most Jamaican artiste Wild life first started singing in the church and in School. The unconquerable ark of talent was discovered at one of his community Douglas Castle church Sabbath school class, when his profound voice impacted the morning devotion. Wild life stood out,everyone in his district marvellled at the sound of his earthy grovelling vocals which was a cross between Prince Far I, Buju Banton and Jack Radics. George invigorating impact began  an unique history that soon unfold his in born appreciation for spiritually rich music. From an early age Wild Life displayed a deep love for singing and songwriting. He would  deejay and chant on community Sound Systems such as Ninja Star and Ultimate Supreme and other sound systems in Kingston He was a motor vehicle alignment  technician by day and an artiste by night.


Wild life introduction to the music recording world came through veteran Producer and sound system operator Everton  “Dr Cave” Moore of the world famous Caveman International Sound System and Studio. Caveman is the musical mentor for many mainstream reggae artiste such as Luciano Bushman Sizzla and a many more. He was introduced to Caveman by fellow artiste Ruckland.He  recorded his first single “Work so Hard” at Caveman Studios  which was subsequently released on his own label “
Wild Life” Productions. He recorded and released numerous songs with the Caveman label such as Rasta Nuh Fraid and No War.

Over the years Wild life has also worked with several local and international producers
He recorded  the song Farming Time on Reggae Legend Bunny Wailer  Solomonic Production label which was included on the R.O.C tek set volume 1 album which features several known and upcoming acts. The album was produced by reggae icon Bunny Wailer. The song enjoyed favourable airplay on locally and internationally

                                                             

WILD LIFE ALBUM TOO TUFF
In March 2009 , he collaborated with NOT EASY AT ALL PRODUCTION out of Amsterdam Holland and released his first album TOO TUFF. This album is also available for download on I-Tunes and other mediums TOO TUFF spawned a number of hits namely Ganja Yard .on the Collie Weed Riddim. Ganja Yard showcase’s Wild Life vocal agility and musical styling.
Ganja Yard is Wild life’s biggest single to date. It is extremely popular on the reggae scene in Europe and several part of the world. It was released on a number of reggae compilations.. Ganja Yard was also nominated in Marijuana Music AWards More tracks like "Hypocrite" from the "Too Tuff" album is making waves especially in Africa .

Wild life has collaborated with the legendary reggae artistes such as Fred “Black Star liner "locks  “Kings of Kings and Behold.  He also sang with falsetto legend  Junior Murvin  on the single “Roots Train” which is getting massive airplays internationally.
Wild life is steadily building an arsenal of music gems
He is a featured performer with 6 songs  on U man  (down the bush records) 2011 Folk Riddims Album featuring himself Sizzla and Squidly Cole (son of  reggae icon stranjah cole)

Caveman Intl  album will be releasing his long awaited album  in 2013 .A Mixtape on the United Reggae Blog will also be released.The albums will be a mixture of love songs and roots songs.


Wild life music reflects a deep understanding of the Jamaican cultural offerings which draws heavily on his rural upbringing..  He showcases effortless vocal versatility by seamlessly switching between the powerful rough vocal deejay style to a smooth singing style.Lyrically its consciousness all the way . He sings about reality but always from a perspective of love progress and vision. He states “I will not sing about alcohol, fancy car and bling bling but about topics indigenous to my Jamaican heritage that rings home to the average music listener



Wild life has ignited many  stage with his performances locally and internationally. He performed on Marcus Garvey 125th anniversary concert in Aug 2012. Reggae Ram Jam etc He toured Europe extensively for 2 ½ months in 2010. The tour was managed by veteran Sound Selectress and Radio Disc Jockey Queen Easy out of Germany.
He is currently preparing for upcoming tours in Africa and will be returning to Europe early 2013.

WILD LIFE LIVE ON STAGE IN JAMAICA


Outside of music Wild Life is a playwright and actor . He appeared in the 2009 movie 
“  Wha Do Dem.
His song "Babylon get Nervous"on the Rising Sun Label was included in the movie sound track compilation. He will  be appearing in another movie in 2013.

Wild life also has a love for the land . He farms in his native Clarendon. For Wild Life reggae music is a never ending mission of truth and upliftment .He is continuing the journey to etch his name and the music he represents into the hearts and minds of everyone who will listen
